We’ve got plenty of opportunities for you to serve at our brand new Young Life Pioneer camp. The camp is located two hours away from Yerevan in the beautiful Bombak Mountains.
ABOUT
Each year thousands of Armenian kids, from street kids and orphans to those with special needs, go to camp to experience the best week of their lives. They come to Pioneer Camp, the only Young Life owned camp facility in the entire region of the former Soviet Union, where they get to hear the good news of Jesus.
We need your servant’s hearts, helping hands and willingness to serve them. But that’s not all! Armenia is a stunning country, and on you trip you will also get to see historical ruins and monasteries in the majestic Bombak Mountains.

Do I need to know how to speak the language when I go there?

No. There is generally someone on the team who speaks English.
Do I need a visa to go to Armenia?

Currently, no. You can get more information about travel requirements by connecting with our Expeditions Coordinator, Carrie Fraser.
We are far removed from this part of the world. Can you help me with the trip arrangements?

Absolutely! We have a designated person who will walk you through your trip's details, including airfare, transportation, insurance, lodging, etc., and answer all your questions. Email Carrie Fraser, Expeditions Coordinator, to start planning!
Is there a better time of the year to take such a trip?

Generally, most of our Expedition trips take place in the spring or the summer during the summer camping season.
What am I going to do while I am there?

Opportunities are endless! There are English teaching trips, construction projects, or camp help adventures, where you would be helping in the cafeteria, setting up sound equipment, cleaning up after club, building simple structures for the activities, painting, etc.
Is there an opportunity to have my own time to explore some tourist destinations?

Yes! And there is so much to explore! You can discuss this with our Expeditions Coordinator and create a customized experience you will treasure for the rest of your life.
