Lives are changed at Young Life Camp
9 out of 10 kids remember their time at Young Life camp as the best week of their lives.
And that’s not just because they get warmly welcomed, well-fed, and entertained with games that leave them covered in shaving cream or mud or paint head to toe. But also because they get to open up and hear the Gospel, sometimes for the first time. They get to slow down, reflect on their own lives, and receive answers to their hard questions – something they long for and value the most.
Many return home filled with hope because they made the most important decision of their life – they decided to say ‘yes’ to Jesus. And their lives will never be the same

“It is always interesting for me to watch the kids: first, when they come to camp and later, to watch their faces when they leave. Sometimes they look like two different people. It can be a boy, who refuses to play and pretends to be asleep at the first club. But at the end of the week, it’s the same boy who tells us that this camp changed him and that it was the best week of his life! Or a girl who came from a difficult family situation and who sits in her room just waiting for her leader to come after her so she would feel wanted and welcomed by the rest of the group.“
