Jacqueline's story

My Young Life Journey
My name is Jacqueline Bolley. I'm 20 years old. I was born in Berdyansk and currently live in Zaporizhia, where I was first introduced to YL.
As a teenager, I loved attending the Young Life club, especially club talks. Even though I knew about God, I never truly understood the meaning of having faith in Him. But something kept me coming back week after week.
Four years later, in 2023, I finally went to Young Life camp for the first time.
It was the best week of my life! When the day came to repent, I finally did it. I shared all my fears with God and asked Him into my heart.
The stars were so bright that night. I could feel His power and awesomeness all around me.
After the camp, I started volunteering on one of the teams. Although I was very busy with studies and work, I always cherished my time at club. Sharing in faith with teens and my co-leaders gave me the inspiration and rest I needed.
I also started seeing God’s love manifesting through people. Watching my captain and leader, Katya Belytska, who took me to camp, I could see how walking with Jesus changes your habits, speech, and heart. He surrounds you with people ready to help, listen, and walk alongside you.
Last winter, I was Katya’s assistant leader during our trip camp. This time, I prayed for the nine girls we brought with us. I could sense the Lord’s presence and knew that I made the most critical decision of my life.
