The Baltics Update

  • Kids from all over Latvia and Estonia have been experiencing the best week of their lives this summer! Camps have been full of activities such as ropes course, swimming in the sea, games, and, of course, club talks. Pray for God to take a hold of those kids' hearts.
  • Leaders continue to gather weekly to study and memorize the Word and grow in their faith. Pray for new revelations, renewal, and deeper connection with Jesus for each leader.
  • The ministry in Estonia now has its own club! Please pray for a team of committed leaders to be formed.

GOD IS PLANTING SEEDS OF CHANGE IN LatvIA and Estonia THROUGH YOUNG LIFE

Latvia is a beautiful country on the Baltic Sea, but it is also burdened by high unemployment and suicide rates. The hopelessness of Latvia’s youth can be seen in the prevalent alcoholism and drug use.

Young Life ministry is reaching out to these kids by providing a secure, safe environment and warm friendship. Through these relationships, the hopelessness of these youth can be turned into purpose and life with the Good News of Jesus.
