The Baltics Update

  • Volunteer leaders continue building relationships with kids at 5 clubs in Riga. ​
  • Day trips are planned for this winter. Pray for the kids to join with open hearts, for the leaders to have energy, patience and wisdom, and for the weather to cooperate!
  • The ministry in Estonia is continuing to grow with more kids coming to club. Keep praying for more open doors and more kids.
  • This February, the team came together for a retreat - to strengthen friendships, reflect, plan, rest, and have a little fun!

GOD IS PLANTING SEEDS OF CHANGE IN LatvIA and Estonia THROUGH YOUNG LIFE

Latvia is a beautiful country on the Baltic Sea, but it is also burdened by high unemployment and suicide rates. The hopelessness of Latvia’s youth can be seen in the prevalent alcoholism and drug use.

Young Life ministry is reaching out to these kids by providing a secure, safe environment and warm friendship. Through these relationships, the hopelessness of these youth can be turned into purpose and life with the Good News of Jesus.
